Help Develop the World's Next Generation of Leaders - On A Mission 2009

Printer-Friendly Format

Would you like to help develop the world's next generation of leaders?

Do you know of a high school where student-athlete leaders want to succeed but have very limited financial resources to do so?

Perhaps you attended or work at an economically challenged high school - or know of a colleague who does.

In accordance with our mission of "helping coaches and athletic administrators develop the world's next generation of leaders," our annual On A Mission* program will provide five high schools across the world with 20 FREE memberships (100 total) to the Team Captains Network website.

You get to help us develop the next generation of leaders by nominating economically challenged high schools who otherwise would not be able to afford the online leadership training.

To help these schools develop a critical mass of leaders who can make a difference in sports, school and life, our goal is to provide free leadership training, resources, and support through the Team Captains Network website to 20 student-athlete leaders at five schools across the world.

I strongly encourage you to nominate a high school that you feel could really benefit from this opportunity.

HOW TO NOMINATE A HIGH SCHOOL FOR THE ON A MISSION PROGRAM

To be considered for the On A Mission program, please email Sarah Gates at sarah@jeffjanssen.com with the following:

1. Your name, email address, and school/organization

2. The name of the high school you would like to nominate

3. A short statement why you would like to nominate the school

4. And if possible, the name and email address of a contact person at the school (athletic director, coach, principal).

Send to my Business Manager Sarah Gates at sarah@jeffjanssen.com

We will accept all your nominations until December 15, 2008. Five high schools will then be chosen to receive the 20 free memberships (100 total) and will be announced in our January 2009 newsletter.

Here's your chance to provide 20 student-athlete leaders at an economically challenged high school with the tools, resources, and support they need to become leaders for a lifetime.

We look forward to receiving your nominations and thanks for partnering with us to develop the world's next generation of leaders!

Jeff, Kristi, Ryan, and Jillian Janssen and the Janssen Sports Leadership Center Team

* The On A Mission program is an annual program we sponsor that gives us a chance to give back to the wonderful network of coaches, athletic administrators, and student-athletes who we have come to know through the years.

In the past, we worked with coaches to sponsor Peak Performance workshops and donated the registration fees to a special cause.
