Developing Yale's Next Generation of Leaders

Yale Athletics is the latest school to partner with the Janssen Sports Leadership Center to create a cutting edge Leadership Academy.

Named in honor of legendary Yale swim coach Robert J. Kiphuth, the Kiphuth Leadership Academy develops Yale student-athletes and coaches to be world-class leaders in athletics, academics, and life.

The Academy uses a two-tiered format targeting both emerging leaders and veteran leaders. The Yale coaching staff is also involved in ongoing leadership development workshops.

Yale now joins North Carolina, Stanford, and Pittsburgh as the pioneers in creating comprehensive leadership development programs for their student-athletes and coaches.
