SHELLEY JOHNSON, M.A., M.S.C.
Shelley Johnson is the Assistant Director of the Carolina
Leadership Academy at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In addition to her work with the Carolina Leadership Academy, Shelley is the primary facilitator for the Baylor Leadership Academy and the Rams Leadership Academy at Winston-Salem State University.Shelley has conducted numerous Leadership Summits across the country at schools such as the University of Miami, UNC-Charlotte, Davidson College, Thayer Academy, Cary Academy, Howell High School, and Novi High School. She has been both a coach and student-athlete at the Division I level, having coached at Michigan, Duke, and North Carolina. As a student-athlete, Shelley played field hockey at Michigan where she was an All-Big Ten performer and Big Ten Conference champion. Shelley has a Master's degree in Education from the University of
Michigan (1999) as well as a Master's degree in Sport Administration
from North Carolina (2006).
GREG SHELLEY, Ph.D.
With over 15 years of experience working with high-level coaches and student-athletes, Dr. Greg Shelley is one of the nation's top speakers and consultants in the areas of leadership development, team building, motivation, communication, conflict resolution, and peak performance. In addition to being a professor at Ithaca College in New York, Greg is the primary facilitator for Leadership Academies at Wake Forest and Georgetown. Greg also consults with numerous college athletic departments and professional organizations. He is the co-author of Moving Toward Your Potential: The Athlete's Guide to Peak Performance as well as author of several book chapters and articles in coaches' magazines. Greg earned his doctorate from the University of Utah in Sport Psychology (1997). He is passionate about developing student-athletes and coaches into highly effective leaders.
