Leaders of Distinction 2008/09

Honoring College Sports Top Leaders

Leadership is one of those critical intangibles that makes a huge difference to a team's success.

Because leadership is so valuable to a team's success and reputation on and off the playing fields, each year we honor the top leaders in our Leadership Academies across the country. An article on the Carolina Leadership Academy banquet is linked below:

http://www.tarheelblue.com/genrel/042409aae.html

The honor is determined by ratings of the leaders by coaches and teammates on our 360 Team Leadership Evaluation.

The student-athlete leaders listed below have earned their teammates' and coaches' utmost trust and respect by scoring 105 or above on the Team Leadership Evaluation.

The Leader of Distinction is the highest honor bestowed by our Leadership Academies. These leaders are truly some of the best of the best that college athletics has to offer.
